Colfax Avenue: When death comes out of the natural order of things, it can rock the foundation of anyone's faith. That was the case when deeply devout Narnia creator C.S. Lewis lost the love of his life, his young wife, Joy Davidman, to cancer. Shadowlands is a heartfelt play by William Nicholson that explores Lewis' personal loss, spiritual crisis and how it affected his beloved writing canon. Join host John Moore, former theatre critic for The Denver Post and now an associate director for the Denver Center, for what promises to be an engaging hour of conversation with actors Graeme Malcolm and Kathleen McCall, along with director Christy Montour Larson, from the Denver Center Thetare's Company's new production of Shadowlands, playing March 28 through April 27 in the Space Theatre at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Page to the Stage is part of the Denver Center's CONNECT program, a series of free events designed to enrich your theatre experience and spark a conversation. Please note that Page to the Stage has moved to its new home at our Colfax Avenue location—bringing theater back to this historic building. For more information, go to www.denvercenter.org/CONNECT.
