Highlands Ranch: Richard Paul Evans, the author of the bestselling phenomenon The Christmas Box, will be here LIVE to read from and sign his new novel A Winter Dream (Simon & Schuster). An ingenious modern retelling of the Old Testament story of Joseph and the coat of many colors, A Winter Dream is a holiday story about family, fate and forgiveness. Evans will also sign the 20th anniversary edition of The Christmas Box (Simon & Schuster). This special edition contains a new introduction by the author, explaining how this personal tribute to his children, intended for just a few family members and friends, became a worldwide phenomenon that brings inspiration and healing to everyone who reads it. This event will kick off our annual Children’s Holiday Book Drive benefiting Reach Out and Read Colorado. Guests are encouraged to bring a gently used children’s book to drop in our donation box.
